That's not fair. Some people have a knack for driving others to temporary insanity with their psychological brutality. What's more is that they love to do it and sadly for the victim its generally sanctioned by society. If you don't understand the effectiveness and viciousness of psychological violence you have probably never been a victim of such an attack.

I wasn't refering to individuals suffering from physical or emotional abuse, who finally couldn't take it anymore and snapped. I think we still have the moral double standard, where when a woman slaps a man in an argument, it is widely accepted that it was him who deserves it and if he complains, he should man up and just take it. Using violence to emphasize a point or outrage in an argument is despicable.
