Let see which kind of treatment money can buy, believe me they will pay alot of millions

I'm sure they're already insured for millions when they travel. The elite don't have the same travel insurance as the rest of us.

Hope a quick recovery.

Wow, so sad, they are ones of the nicest people around...

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Oh no!! I really hope they recover, that is terrible.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Hope both of them recover soon.

They are one of the most decent people in the industry.

If it takes five days to manifest, where did they pick it up, I wonder?

Wealthy people get sick just like everyone else. The only difference it that they are much more likely to have a doctor make house calls and pay cash.

The same advice - get rest, plenty of fluid and call the doctor if it gets worse applies to them, just like everyone else. They will use tele-medicine just like normal people do too.

My US insurance encourages calling in, using video chats, and only going in for an office visit/hospital when necessary.

BTW, testing for the Wu-Flu is included in all US health insurance plans now.

According to this, they were in Sydney last week.

I noticed a lot of criticism from few Americans toward our government, culture and country for the way we were handling this virus initially. Everything from the way we don’t wash our hands properly (which I found laughable coming from westerners as we are one of the most hygienic nation in the world) to how slow our government is reacting. Now that the virus has reached across the pacific and how similar our predicaments are/were, lets see how well you handle this.

Interestingly, the virus seems to be impacting rich and poor alike...

Best wishes to them!

That sucks, hope they get better soon.

There will have travel insurance plans for the rich that allow medivacs on private helicopters/planes, repatriation to the best hospitals in the US/Europe and stuff like that.

Guess we're rich then (btw, we aren't). We are just "well off."

Whenever I'm going to the ends of the Earth for some fun, I spend the $90-$150 and get a policy like that.

It's cutting really close to home when Tom Hanks tests positive for the coronavirus.

But shouldn't he have been tested before any symptoms were present? After all, both live high-risk lifestyles, constantly meeting new people and traveling.
