SpeedNov. 17  06:37 pm JST ****The music extravaganza will be held without an audience for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

I don't think they got the memo. They haven't had an audience for years.

You'd think so. But is this is the case, why does it continue?

Sorry, but Babymetal is not a female group. Its singers are cute girls yes, but all the guitar, base, drums etc are being played by male musicians. At least thats what I would guess, but all their faces are covered up. And since one of the three original members left, there are two new members who rotate as the "third girl". Not so different from the boys bands, idol bands, etc, and all "produced" by some big agency.

I haven't really paid attention to J-Pop in a while, but I did enjoy "Little Glee Monster" the few times I saw them. I wouldn't mind checking out their performance.

The rest? Well, it's nice to have background TV on when your doing something else I guess.

I see Greeeeeeeeeeeen is on the bill.

Are they still pulling that "can't be seen" garbage? I "get it," they're professionals, or whatever and can't show their faces.

But then that opens up the question, why book an act that is supposed to perform on stage, but can't perform on stage? Japanese logic...............

Babymetal, ceased to be infants, even children, well, when nature deemed them adults.

Talented, backing band.

You don't have to watch it all to enjoy/like it. Just watch the ones you like, people.

That being said, though:

-Too much idol groups;

-No Miyamoto Hiroji (or Elephant Kashimashi);

-No Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra;

-No Wagakki Band.

Pass.

I'll watch Juju and skip the rest.

I would go all the way to Tokyo and risk virus to see Babymetal live!

As usual only the highest standard on this show... yikes...
