If I were the two comedians, I would leave Yoshimoto and join another agency, or form my own. The president is on a power trip.

Going forward, a couple of bows later and the whole thing will be forgotten and it will be business as usual. Pathetic.

Hold on. Why is this president having to apologise?! He fired employees for taking money from yakuza. Good for him.

Yoshimoto basically is the Yakuza. What's the difference?

Really, this whole thing smells like a setup to make it look like they are taking the issue seriously. The attempted fake crying by one of the "talents" was pathetic.

The most disgusting thing is that this has gotten more media coverage than the mass murder in Kyoto.

All fake. Bowing = no meaning. Sorry = no meaning. If you are truly sorry, let all the comedians donate all their paid monies for the event to charity.

As for the fact that they received some money from crime group, of course, Miyasako and Tamura should be received some kind of punishment. However, about company's structure, contract system, low-salary problem or so on, these are already none of our business. I don't think we're in any position to complain about this any more.

I hope media should work for other news, such as arson attack in Kyoto or dangerous riot in Hong Kong.

As long as he's asking them stuff, he should also ask them which stadium the Tigers play in.

Surely this president is doing the right thing? Why does Yoshimoto Kogyo have to treat these employees so nicely??

I don't get it? If I took JPY1M for working for the yakuza without consulting with my company my employer would fire me.

Okamoto should be put in charge of Japan Inc if he is cleaning up all this bribery.

Miyasako and Tamura should be fired. End of story. Why does the president need to apologise to them?

However, he took responsibility for fostering mistrust.

?? What about the mistrust of those two working for the yakuza.?!
