They say Anne Frank's family was turned in by a family friend to save him from the concentration camps Google Anne Frank Betrayal

We can also find articles that suggest the betrayal didn't occur. But regardless, I wonder what I would do if my own family were threatened with death unless I betrayed some people I knew. Whatever happened, I think we know where the blame lies.

I can't argue about what might have happened in the US Japanese internment camps (which were also awful), but comparing "what might have happened" to "what actually happened" as if they're in any way equivalent is exactly what I would consider to be "twisting" of history.

If winning the internet was possible, you just did it.

There is no "twisting" of history.... William is just stating facts.

No, they're not stating facts. They asked a hypothetical "Would Anne have died..." so that's incorrect.

Furthermore, it's a hypothetical asked specifically to imply that the Allies and the US are responsible for Anne Frank's death. It implies that maybe fewer people might have died if Germany hadn't been losing.

Fighto...

Way to try and twist history around and minimise the unforgivable crimes of the Nazis.

There is no "twisting" of history.... William is just stating facts. There is no minimizing of any crimes.

The Nazis will never be forgiven for as long as humanity exists.

You are probably correct. I didn't see anyone suggesting otherwise.

@ William Bjornson

And would Anne have died had the 'Allies' not cut off ALL aid to the camps which had been previously available including food, fuel, and medicine in 1943 as "aid to the enemy"?

You really think, facing starvation themselves, the Nazi concentration camp officers would have gifted food and medical supplies to those they were exterminating? Poor Anne Frank and millions like her were nothing but "vermin" to be extinguished, in the very words of the Nazis.

Not much is ever said about the people who worked very hard and risked their lives daily for a long time to protect and support these people out of basic Human altruism. And would Anne have died had the 'Allies' not cut off ALL aid to the camps which had been previously available including food, fuel, and medicine in 1943 as "aid to the enemy"? In the Winter of 1944-45, the camps and BERLIN were in almost identical straits regarding starvation and illness and cold as Germany ran out of everything and in the camps, Typhus, a lice borne disease common to large groups of Humans had almost free rein due to lack of any resources and was responsible for the greatest majority of ALL camp deaths in the few months before Germany's surrender in early May. Had the U.S. lost the war and resources became scarce, the same fate could have befallen the Japanese-Americans incarcerated in concentration camps in the Western U.S. although it's doubtful that lice would have been an issue in those camps. There are many factors other than racism which contributed to the large numbers of deaths of the many and various peoples who were sent to the camps albeit the stories of the many other groups whose people died have been overshadowed by one in particular which is a great distortion of the true story.
