Just think, all these TV signals are going out to interstellar space unheeded. Anybody at a planet near the star Sirius (8 light-years) away will catch these shows in our year 2030. Then they'll ask themselves, 'who ARE these people producing this junk???'.

he did get a People's Choice Award for Favorite Actor in a New TV Series, Matlock (1987).

Its why the average moviegoer couldn't name a single movie of the 10 up for honors 

If your ‘average moviegoer’ doesn’t know who Spielberg, PT Anderson, Villeneuve, Branagh, Del Toro, or Campion are they really haven’t been going to the movies much or following the Oscars for decades.

All are nominated for Best Picture this year, all have won before, all have been making great films for many many many years.

That doesn’t fit your agenda of woke Hollywood, but too bad. Everyone who disagrees with you is a bachelor or sad housewife. Ooookay.

Hollywood has effectively committed suicide by becoming so insufferably woke that even the most interesting projects have to go through a wringer of checkmarks and quota hires that render them neutered.

Sounds terrible.

Lesse, there were just some more bastardized Marvel Comics pieces of junk and I saw an online trailer of this French action film where this woman has sex with a car (honest!). Nothing to even consider for an award, let alone worth the time. A waste of filming, airtime, celluloid, time, expenses, everything.
