For those of you who weren't there, Alien was considered amazing by many at the time. It scared the pants off of many, many theater goers. It was that good and ticked a lot of boxes.

I, for one, think the aliens would rapidly overrun Planet Earth. Gomen neh.

I want to see Ripley and Private Vasquez make the aliens wish they'd never existed.

@davestrousers: Most big AAA games these days do pre-order incentives and this one is no different. A friend of mine is a games journalist and has played a couple of hours demo of this game and came away very impressed. In general the gaming media have been giving positive write ups on what has been seen so far but we won't know for sure until the final reviews come in. This game is not going to be another Colonial Marines mess, it truly fits into the genre 'Survival Horror' as their is very little in the way of weapons to protect yourself. I'm very much looking forward to it and for the first time ever seriously thinking about pre-ordering.

@ CGB Spender: The game is set 15 years after the first movie with Ripley's daughter Amanda now working for the same company her mother does. Amanda heads to a remote space station after hearing that the flight recorder of the Nostromo had been found to get more details on what happened to her mother. Upon arriving she finds that a unknown menace is stalking the corridors not realising that she is now about to take on a member of the same species that stopped her mother from returning home.

What happened after Alien 1? She goes into hyper sleep and drifts in space for the next ~50 years. But that's probably not the content of the game. An Alien 5 movie would be interesting! I wanna see how my fav character from Alien Resurrection, Crewman Johner does!

So its an incentive to pre-order before its released and properly reviewed. Does this mean Sega think its another Colonial Marines?

she wasn't that unflappable as i remeber. agree, just keep pumping them out with clone or android Ripleys.

Oh for heaven's sake, just go ahead and make Alien 5 with Ripley's clone giving the aliens more fits!
