Wentworth Miller, star of American TV drama "Prison Break," is making his first visit to Japan this week. He is here to promote next summer's DVD release of the fourth season of the popular series.

About 500 fans went to Narita airport to catch a glimpse of Miller, 36, who is scheduled to do about 60 interviews while he is in Japan.

At a press conference in Tokyo, Miller said: “I learnt judo when I was young, and my sensei told me various things about Japan and I became interested. I’d like to see some temples or shrines when I have some time off.”

Wentworth: "Konnichiwa" Japanese person: "Wow your Japanese is so good!" Wentworth: "Aishiteruyo." Japanese person: "Iiyaaaaaaaaan!"

I so envy people who know nothing of Japan - they get all the respect.

Sunday, December 30, 2007 "Prison Break" Star Wentworth Miller Gay & Dating "Brothers & Sisters' " Luke MacFarlane?

"Prison Break" star and Korean jeans model Wentworth Miller is gay and dating actor Luke MacFarlane who plays Scotty, a recurring gay character on the ABC family drama "Brothers & Sisters," reports celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

August 27, 2007: UPDATE

British-born actor Wentworth Miller addressed rumors about his sexual orientation in an interview with Australian media in late 2006 saying he was not gay as some had suggested.

The actor has however become the target of speculation as he keeps a very low profile and declines to speak about his personal life publicly.

Miller was photographed going out to the movies or a restaurant with girlfriends on several occasions in the past year, but none of these couplings got any repeat exposure in the tabloid media.

Now Perez Hilton, who accurately reported that singer Lance Bass and actor Neil Patrick Harris were gay and dating men before they officially came out in the media, claims an "impeccable source close to the pair" confirmed Miller and MacFarlane have been secretly dating for over 6 months.

Well, if he's on Prison Break then he should have been right at home with the welcoming "you're a criminal" fingerprinting and mug shot at the airport. Or do "Ooooooo mono" not get subjected to the degrading farce??

You might be disappointed, Zai.

:-) Ah well, my chances of getting a date with him were never that great anyway! He's still easy on the eye....

The meaning of the name Wentworth is Village Of The White People, a search on the internet reveals. I wonder what his nickname is/was!
