William Shatner is legend....
Loved watching him in "Boston Legal"!! Denny Crane was an awesome character!! And after all of the history around Star Trek, such a different side of Shatner!!

As long as he talk/sings Rocket Man, I'm game.

There is little more cheering than William Shatner's version of the Canadian national anthem.

If you get the chance to see "Better Late Than Never", do give it a look. It could easily have been rubbish, but Mr Shatner's occasional sullenness, together with Henry Winkler's sunny disposition, makes it a pleasure to watch. George Foreman and Terry Bradshaw also star.

His album Has Been was just priceless and his joint album with Spock - Spaced Out - was also a gem. He is apparently not an easy person, but has certainly stood the test of time.

Enthralled to be the first........favorite Kirk quote "You know the greatest danger facing us is ourselves, an irrational fear of the unknown. But there's no such thing as the unknown — only things temporarily hidden, temporarily not understood."
Spock summarised “It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want.” Can't make it up can you?

Don't forget his reading of 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'.
And I liked TJ Hooker too, with the lovely Heather Lockhear!
I met Shatner @ a Trekkie convention. He was hired as a narrator the US Navy Nuclear Engineer Program and he's not even an American.
Another element is his brashness. Good to see that he's still in the game at his age.

His Twitter feed cracks me up.

Anyone remember Unsolved Mysteries hosted by the late Robert Stack? Shatner's show sounds very similar.

Yeah LOVED Boston Legal!!!

Shatner looks amazing for his age; looks 58 or 68, not 88!
Doesn't seem to have had any work done either.

Completely forgot about that excellent show. Good call.

Where's Captain Kirk? A song by Spizz Energi. John Peel used to play it a lot on his radio programme.

The (West) German band Nena had a huge hit with '99 Luftballoons'. A screwed-up English translation has the lyrics 'everyone's a superhero/everyone's a Captain Kirk'.

My favorite Captain Kirk quotes:
"Leave your bigotry in your quarters - there's no room for it on the bridge."
And to make Spock angry in order to snap him out of the trance he's in:
"All right, you mutinous, disloyal computerized half-breed, we'll see about you deserting my ship."
As long as he talk/sings Rocket Man, I'm game.
Shatner is also a comic genius:
