By all means, the sequel should be titled *Spinal Tap 11 *.

No way in hell can they top the original.

It would be fun to see them try though.

When “This Is Spinal Tap” was first released, many thought Spinal Tap was a real band.

The funny thing is that they actually were a real band, they released two studio albums which both rocked. I used to have them, wish I still did.

More proof that something has gone seriously wrong in western society.

We are now at the point of digging up 40 year old movies to make a sequel, that we can add to all the other sequels.

By all means, the sequel should be titled Spinal Tap 11 .

They can't at this time because they will probably need that tittle later after the 10 more sequels that will be coming.

As much as Spinal Tap is one of my favorite movies, I really don't want a sequel nor think one will be very good.

Doing off-the-cuff humor a second time around, like telling the same joke twice, never hits you like the first time.

There is a four-hour workprint of the original movie if you want to see more of them. Some of the scenes that got cut are very funny. In all, about 10 hours of footage was shot for it.

It is no accident the original movie was so good, they'll all top improv performers on the top of their game. The mockumentary thing has been done a lot since though, leaving very little room to do something new with it as "This is Spinal Tap" did.

In 1980 we had the 'Blues Brothers' movie. One of them passed away in 1982. In 1998 there was 'Blues Brothers 2000' which was a pile of unfunny insipid trash.

One of the members of Spinal Tap is gone now. I hate to see a sequel like 'BB 2000'. Some things you just revive.

Sometimes you just have to 'Let It Be'. And the Blues Brothers and Spinal Tap franchises ain't the Beatles either.

Nobody knew about this guy's politics back then, that's why it was so funny.

He can never recreate a politically correct sequel to the original.

He is not funny and has alienated 50 per cent of his audience due to stupid political interventions.

Please don’t.
