No. That’s why there are laws regarding ‘age of consent’. Under such age a person is deemed a child and unable to give consent. 16 year olds make dumb choices and are easily manipulated but are not necessarily to blame.

Well considering Steven Tyler lives in Massachusetts and the number of states with the age of consent at 16 it would be unfair to hold a trail in a state that is a minority state. You could also say that since the victim has mentioned numerous states in their filing it could be conceived to be a federal case. Unfortunately for Tyler federal AOC is also 18.

Being dumb and making a choice to regret later is something almost every human has in their history. Being young and dumb is human nature.

They both made mistakes. Acting like she wasn't there and was the victim for many years, I don't buy it. She wanted to be there and having regrets 50 yrs later doesn't mean her choices at the time weren't fully consensual.
