Women in the spotlight at Lollapalooza in Chicago

It isn't a concert festival without the heart and soul of Canada, Carly Rae Jepson. That is all.....

Saw the 2007 version with JA, QOTSA, Cave In, Audioslave, and Mondo Generator. That was a real rock show. Aside from Mr Reznor, this version is not.

Don't tell me about the sudden adventure spirit of Lollapalooza then say Mumford and Sons and The Cure are headlining. There have been plenty of great female musicians the media and Perry Farrel chose to ignore for the past 2 decades.

Lollapalooza always makes me think of the group, Lush, and I haven't paid it any attention since they disbanded.

Now, maybe, if Arcade Fire was to perform....
