Both of you, just go away.

Not being from New York, nor being Jewish, I never found any of his movies either amusing or entertaining.

How can he be so sure it will be his last? Is Alec Balwin starring in the movie?

The insufferable Woody Allen … let’s hope he means it.

I have zero interest in Alec Baldwin or Woody Allen. If you like them watch them, if not ignore them as I do.

Some of Woody Allen's early stuff was genius.

Sleeper was hilarious and an interesting study about fighting against an illiberal fascist state, which has a lot of parallels with the current situation in the US and the the attempt by the far right to take power over the US via the Supreme Court.

However, I don't think that an orgasmatron will be easy to obtain under a future government. Clarence Thomas has already stated that even access to contraception is not a constitutional right.

Allen was accused directly of essentially the same sex crime but with a much younger child that Roman Polansky was banned for but somehow slithered out from under the charge. His 'last movie' should have been in 1992 and little would have been lost from the American film repertoire. The man has neither shame nor, really, any great talent other than appealing to self-absorbed, money centered twits.

Is it going to be a comedy about how Baldwin killed someone and blamed it on everyone but himself?

When I was 9 years old, I was falsely accused, in public, of stealing a bar of chocolate from a supermarket.

Thank god people weren’t publicly condemned and cancelled on the strength of unproven accusation only back then, or I might have disappeared forever. It was great living in a sensible society like that.

Back in the day, Woody was a genius, but sadly, all those personal scandals killed all of that and what makes it worse is that he justified a lot of it including what he did with his daughter and that he left Mia for his daughter who is now his wife, sick and sad. And that is why he's fallen from grace. You don't comeback from something like that.

I thought he was dead.

What a small-minded and silly comment. I wonder why his movies are popular in France, considering that most French people aren’t Jewish or from NY? Do you like Spike Lee’s movies? I guess that depends.

Yes, “accused” being the key distinction here between him and Polanski. I wonder why Mia Farrow’s Asian kids are either dead or “accuse” HER of child abuse? She still gets to be a UNICEF ambassador, doesn’t she?

It’s odd that some people will rail against accusations without due course, he said/she said, Amber 2.0 blah blah then happily do exactly the same thing when it is against someone they personally don’t like.

LMFAO I bet the title of his next movie would be Woody the Nut Kracker! He said alot of the thrill is gone, I guess viagra doesn't work anymore!! This guy is a PED!!!

filmmaker Woody Allen did not rule out Tuesday that his next movie, to be shot in Paris, will be his last, saying that "a lot of the thrill is gone."

@shallots Every character he played was nebbish. (its a New York Yiddish word, look it up)

A lot of culture, in particular humour, does not translate and is not funny outside of where it was created. Benny Hill may be considered a comic genius in London but not in Texas. The Office had to be rewritten, recast, reshot and dumbed down for American audiences. The British hit comedy puppet show Spitting Images was only humorous to British folks.

Jerry Lewis was also popular in France, so there is that.

My opinion that not being from New York, nor being Jewish, that I never found any of his movies either amusing or entertaining. is valid. You are free to disagree but I just never found Woody Allen interesting because my culture was different.

@Lamilly He's a pedo and groomed his wife when she was still a child, i can't understand why he's not in jail.

I’ll take a wild guess: because he hasn’t been found guilty of any criminal offence in a court of law?
