Maybe Japanese fans will get to see this movie sometime in 2014-15. Even Allen's 2012 film "To Rome with Love," over a year old now, isn't coming to Japan until June 2013. Japan, always last on the list of release dates...

And by "this film" I mean Blue Jasmine, due out this summer (except Japan) as mentioned in the last paragraph

No danger, at his age he will have to do a handstand to get it up. ;)

It is very happy to hear that Woody Allen is in the plan to make next film in France. Wish him all the very best for the success of the next film.

Woody Allen: boring ...

well, if Iron Man, Superman, Spiderman and other movies made for 12 year-old mouth breathers are your thing, Im sure he would be..

@hoserfella, the aforementioned films are entertainment, plain and simple. Fun to watch. Woody Allen movies reflect his own self-absorbed neurotic penchant passed off as witty humour. So, it's drole. Whatever floots yer boot.

@JeanValJean - For 12 year-old mouth breathers, I agree. Anyone over the age of, say, 18 who is entertained by them would not understand or appreciate the adult humour and storyline of a Woody Allen film. I'm also quite sure that without explosions, gunfire, CG, easy to understand plot, words shorter than 7 letters, etc, they would walk out after the first 10 minutes.

@hoserfella, those films you detest as for 12-year-old mouth-breathers may not be your cup of tea, and that's your right to dislike them. Likewise, others have the right to an opinion which differs from yours regarding Woody Allen's drole humour. I much prefer Kubrick, Hitchcock, and Coppola films. Whatever floots yer boot!

JeanValJean you don't have to google the names of famous directors to prove your gravitas. If you are into the comic book movies, even though you are of adult age, then so be it. Like I said, a woody Allen film is not for everyone.

hoserfella, the first Woody Allen film I saw was in '75(Everything You Ever Needed To Know...), probably before you were born. I've seen many of his films, but generally found them tedious. If you like them, then have at them.

JeanValJean - IF you saw a Woody Allen film before I was born, does that automatically mean you understood and appreciated it more? I doubt it. I'm sure you also saw the first Superman movie before I was born which, ironically, I'm sure you appreciated more.

Readers, please stop going around in circles.

Woody Allen is one of those people/things you either love or hate. To me, in my opinion, pass.
