I love the red stockings. I just ordered some on line but they will not mail them to Japan. Why?

What would really be news is to learn that any of these people actually chose or bought the clothes on which this award purports to have judged.

If these were the fashion leaders, the rest of the pack must be downright scary. The girls are attractive enough, but the clothes look like they came from the extras wardrobe in the Alice in Wonderland movie.

Well, if we begin talking about shopping for stockings, I can tell you that Japanese industry revolutionized the production of seamless stockings and pantie stockings (tights) half a century ago and has continued to be on top of developments with the latest colorful, anything goes trend. Unless you are unable to go out, visit any women's hosiery / stockings / etc. store and you'll find your red stockings. And then ebay sells Japanese stockings imported from Japan.

Thanks presto345: dress tastes differ eh? You can say that again. Great selection of tights/stockings here, not sure what point JG is trying to make. From where she is in Shinjuku she doesn't have to go far to select from a huge choice.

Looks like Takarajima hired some marketing/ promotion company who just trawled the media for the names of 5 popular girls, then gave them this 'prestigious' 2011 Fashion Leader Awards.
