Hanks also gave him a Corona-branded typewriter that he had brought to Australia saying "I thought this typewriter would suit you. Ask a grown-up how it works. And use it to write me back."

Now this is pure class....Tom Hanks...out of Chabot College Hayward, CA.......very cool to see a Northern Californian do this

Blame the parents for naming their son "Corona". They probably thought the name sounded regal at the time.

Kudos to Hanks however, for the thoughtful gesture.

Why should anyone blame the parents? "Corona" is a cool name, meaning "something suggesting a crown." The parents chose a great name! Much better than Shaqeena or Jhesska, or Abcde.

A boy called Corona and the typewriter the same name, and a Hollywood megastar a coronavirus survivor hmm,,,If I don't know who is Tom Hanks not interesting to me, but as I know him, The script is well made! How to describe this?

Kudos to Tom Hanks.

And to Corona... through my work, I know for sure there are at least seven kids in the USA named Corona (probably many more). It sounds a great name to me. Far better than albaleo.

A 'corona' is a beautiful glowing halo, not a ring. Paintings depict angels with coronas and sometimes you can see an ice crystal formation around the moon, resembling a disk. It could be red + blue, or white, or even butter cream in color. It's beautiful to see.

'Corona' is also a brand name for a yucky Mexican beer that pretty California girls love to drink.

Either way, major kudos to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hanks for their action of pure class.
