Actress Yuki Amami, 41, star of Fuji TV's drama “BOSS” – currently showing on Thursday nights at 10 pm – took part in an event held by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police in Ginza this week as part of their ongoing traffic safety campaign.

Amami, who plays the leader of a unit of detectives in the drama, joined those in attendance in watching a simulated traffic accident carried out by stuntmen. She said afterwards: “No matter how careful you are, sometimes it’s easy to get impatient or take risks.” She added: “I hope my drama and movies are able to contribute to traffic safety.”
