Nice article. I didn't know about this. Hendrix was my first rock concert and it s nice to have bits of history

I'd be excited to hear what Davis and Hendrix could have done. I'm not sure how much McCartney could have brought to the table bass-wise. He was a great song-writer but as far as a bass player/instrumentalist I don't think he was anywhere near the level of Hendrix or Davis, or even Tony Williams for that matter.
