Er, no it isn't. It looks like an old police box.

As for Capaldi, he is a brilliant Doctor and I will miss him dearly. The new episode today was a cracker, proper old school Who, and Bill is a promising companion.

Wish he would do another few years as the Doctor. I like it when the actor does like 5 years before changing..

I remeber watching it from when Jon Pertwree played the third Doctor.

I was hoping Peter Capaldi would stick around a bit longer too, especially after last season, just like I would have been happy for Matt Smith to do a couple more years. I wish Peter Capaldi had got it in 1987, actually, I think he might have done it for longer if he'd been younger. And if the BBC hadn't pulled the plug in 1989.

There's been a lot of discussion recently, for converting "Doctor Who" to a combination of a Coloured LGBT person.

LGBT? Where are you getting that from?

Personally if that happens, I think it would kill the Series.

Why's that?

What do you think ?

The Doctor was a white, heterosexual male in 1985 and also in 1989.

There’s never been a female Doctor and many fans think it’s about time

The PC brigade insist the next Doctor should be: non-white / gay / a woman / etc, forgetting that the Doctor is not human. I find it ironic that they try to force their cultural biases onto an alien culture when the same people are the first to don sackcloth and ashes when the discussion turns to past colonial behaviour.

Agree Capaldi is good, not so sure about the Bill character, she doesn't quite gel.

mmwkdw: The term LGBT applies to humans, but Dr Who is not a human. Human sexuality is irrelevant when discussing the Doctor. To say the next Doctor should be LGBT is like insisting that a LGBT dog be cast in the next Lassie film: complete nonsense.
