Seen the new Cover on another forum some time ago, he looks EMO now too.

So far not many seem too impressed with the new direction.

Holy Bat Crap.

Where will it end ?

I as never into Batman, but I bet the real fans are going mental. This is awful. What were they thinking?!?!

In doing so, Wayne is free to take his crime fighting international by building what Morrison calls a “global, international army of Batmen. Batman in China, Batman in Japan, Batman in Russia. Expanding the Batman brand to areas where he really hasn’t been before.”

If he thinks that is a good way for Batman to go, he's wrong. What an idiot.

Exactly. Unless he's right.

Why not? Dark Knight and batman begins grossed millions in Japan. what the hell are you whining about?

Not sure how this would make any sense. batman Incorpoated? How will the corporation make money? Will Batman start charging for services?

I'm sure that Batman incorporated will run off protection money. People pay Batman a certain percentage of their earnings in order for him to keep them safe.

"I'm sure that Batman incorporated will run off protection money. People pay Batman a certain percentage of their earnings in order for him to keep them safe."

Virnok, pretty fascinating concept.

I'm curious. What happens when Bruce Wayne is sued for damages?

Things I have liked: I have usually enjoyed the unique set designs, when they wanted to go "all out", they did and did it well. I liked in the Dark Knight, the shots they did in Hong Kong and the SFX. I liked it when their villains are interesting.

I could see bringing in other support, but creatively.

My biggest concern momentarily is the predictability factor.

Second, Batman has not been a big joiner, so the Batman goes corporate, I'm a little puzzled.

For a while there I had him holed-up in a remote Japanese mountain onsen...

In the company I keep, someone seems to think Harry Mudd would be a good charachter to add to Batman. A firm and interesting villain.

I'm more of a mindset of "He tasks me! He tasks me, and I shall have him! I'll chase him round the Moons of Nibia, and round the Antares Maelstrom, and round perdition's flames before I give him up! Prepare to alter course!"

But that actor will never be again. RIP.

why should anyone over the age of 13 care about this?

First thought that came to mind: it's like how Tony Stark admitted he was Iron Man.

This seems too complicated and will change a lot in the Batman storyline.

Not a huge fan of this idea, but if anyone can make it work, it's Morrison. Besides, Batman is one of the few heroes who have such a ridiculously complex continuity at this point that pretty much nothing has to be accepted as canonical. Don't like this? Fine--ignore it completely and think of any one of the billion other versions of the history of Batman as the "right" one.

BatmAn. The singular knight of the night PLEASE.

Idano, sounds pretty sold out to me. Bob Kane is spinning in his bat-grave.

I thought the "big admission" was finally let us know just exactly the Batman-Robin relationship is all about, and what goes on in that cave of theirs.

It remains to be seen how long Batman Inc. will take to offer an IPO. Who will invest in the Caped Crusader(s)? Warren Buffett? The Joker?
