"Ralph Fiennes has mined the complexity of his characters."

Monsieur Fiennes has an incredibly deep and varied film career. The reader should investigate "Bernard and Doris" (2006) with Susan Sarandon. Little known and maybe unsung, Fiennes and Sarandon are exceptional together while Fiennes achieves a vulnerable, flawed and brilliant integrity as Bernard Lafferty. It is fantastic to imagine what this 51 year old will deliver in his next fifty years. Cheers M. Fiennes!

IMO, one of the greatest portrayals onscreen, ever, was Mr. Fiennes's death-camp commander in "Schindler's List." Mr. Fiennes owned that character completely. He should have gotten the academy award for it.

He is also very good as Coriolanus.
