As to the appearance of the man Jesus (Yashua) if he were real he wouldn't of looked like most of the poster boys that have portrayed the man up to now.
Jesus would not of looked anything like the classic blond haired blue eyed Aryan that most Western Artist have painted. He would have looked more Middle Eastern than European, you know like the people that were living in the Middle East during the reign of Herod the Great.

I am not convinced that Jesus was an actual person but if he was he would be a darker skinned person without access to male beauty products, hairdressers, dentists, gyms etc.

Zichi,
Christians claim their god as male in gender. This is because in their book, the bible or "Theory of Creation" states "God created man in his own image" who was referred to as "Adam", the first male human being. So to them, their god is same as Adam, which is a guy.
Catholics on the other hand, claim Jesus not identical to Brad Pitt's. He is more of a skinny white guy with flawless skin.
I was thought Christianity for more than half of my life. But, I've turned myself into an Atheist.

You can't be too rich, but you can be too thin.
"Did Jesus really look like Brad Pitt, only slightly better?"
What about Johnny Depp? lol

They need to stop using highly sexually appealing actors to play the role of a god. It's a little disturbing. I guess not. Do as you wish hollywood.

I just saw the movie last week overseas. The producer did a wonderful job telling the story of Jesus' humble birth, his teachings, crucifixion, and ultimate resurrection three days later. The Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado, who sort of resembles Brad Pitt couldn't have been more perfect for portraying Jesus. He did fulfill his desire of bringing to life the most wonderful and magical story of all times. Watching the stories in the bible unfold and seeing Jesus deal with such tremendous challenges with nothing but love and compassion is emotional and heart-wrenching. Son of God is a powerful film.

How about Robert Powell as JC in "Jesus of Nazareth"? Missed that one out.
