50 years of UN environmental diplomacy:

How many of us can recall the acid rain, DDT poisoning, oil spills, nuclear tests, orange agent spray in Vietnam in early 1970's?

The polluted environment did improve after UN's action then.

But things got worse since the 1990's, it worsened further faster than expected, and the highly toxic environment is practically beyond repair now..
