Countries globally lose a lot more than that to corruption. And we could stop corruption.

Climate change? What about mismanagement corruption among plethoras of other stuff.

If we continue to deny the climate crisis, and fail to curb it, the GDP of the African, Asian, Europen, American and Australian nations will drop to zero.

Climate change comes on top of every other reason for losing resources, it is projected to increase in importance in the near future and it is also something that can be prevented (at least partially) with international cooperation. Worse even is that it is likely to make corruption even worse as every disaster does.

Yes, and this "climate change crisis" is part of that corruption.

Yes, and this "climate change crisis" is part of that corruption.

On the opposite, corruption is trying to minimize the huge problem investing lots of money into misleading people into thinking there is nothing to worry about, because if people do worry as they should then the corrupt interests would lose orders of magnitude more money.

Indeed, there is so much money spent on providing us with almost daily reports reminding us that there is nothing to worry about with climate... oh wait!!!

Daily reports are fortunately out of the weapons the corrupt can use, because scientists are not tolerant of people trying to publish falsehoods disguised as science.

But constant messages in social media, forums, comment sections, etc.? that is where the misleading information is being pushed daily. "The whole scientific community of the world is lying, they are being paid to lie and I can't prove it because everybody but me is in the conspiracy".
