Slowly but surely it is becoming impossible to live in denial, the public in the US is unfortunately at the hands of many manipulators that have done a lot (and spend fortunes) to mislead them into rejecting the scientific consensus and pretend climate change was not real, related to human activity or important enough to care.

This is no longer enough and people can see with their own eyes the consequences of pretending nothing bad will happen, it is already too late to revert things without huge costs in resources and lives, but hopefully this change in the public opinion will help preventing even more loses by pushing towards better decisions.

Quite cool in certain parts of the US, and fewer than normal number of hurricanes reached land.

Slowly but surely it is becoming impossible to live in denial,

"denial" is a religious term.

Err what? The media, government, and Big Tech are united in pushing "climate change" narrative that claims that only big government can save us with ever powers.

And about "consensus" firstly there is none, and secondly science is decided by ongoing research and not by "consensus".

and pretend climate change was not real, related to human activity or important enough to care.

Actually, I have not seen anyone claiming that "climate change is not real". To the contrary, the claim that climate never changes would be absurd. And of course "human activity" is one of the many factors influencing it. Again, the opposite claim would be absurd. Strawman argument?

Strange how the 'weather != climate' point is no longer considered relevant when those arguments are made to blame climate change for weather events.

And extremely hot in general, specific exceptions do not refute the general situation.

fewer than normal number of hurricanes reached land

If those hurricanes have increased potency and decreased speed, that would still mean more destruction, specially if their behavior changes affecting areas that are unprepared to them, that has been already been observed .

"denial" is a religious term.

No it is not, consulting any dictionary can help you with this mistaken concept.

Err what? The media, government, and Big Tech are united in pushing "climate change" narrative that claims that only big government can save us with ever powers.

The scientific consensus is the one that can easily prove this is true beyond any reasonable doubt, pretending that climate change comes originally from any other source is trying to mislead others, ignore the media, governments and big tech and you still have climate change proved by the scientific community of the world.

And about "consensus" firstly there is none, and secondly science is decided by ongoing research and not by "consensus".

There is a consensus as sure as you have been repeatedly challenged to bring any respected institution of science that refutes climate change, you have never been able to bring any example. And no, your understanding about what consensus means is also mistaken, it does not replaces research, it is a product of it, when everybody studying a field reach the same conclusions that is when consensus is reached.

Actually, I have not seen anyone claiming that "climate change is not real".

Being badly informed about a topic is not an argument to prove anything about that topic, it is terribly easy to search around and find out people that try to prove precisely this.

To the contrary, the claim that climate never changes would be absurd.

The conclusions that support climate change never claimed climate never change, that is a strawman.

And of course "human activity" is one of the many factors influencing it.

It is the main factor, by much, without human activity there would not be climate change (as the term is understood pointing to the current disaster)

Again, the opposite claim would be absurd. Strawman argument?

There are people pretending climate change (again, as the term refers to the current crisis) do not exist, that is no strawman.

Strange how the 'weather != climate' point is no longer considered relevant when those arguments are made to blame climate change for weather events.

Weather and climate are not the same, and that do not contradict in any way the fact that changes in the climate have effects on the weather, the point being that specific weather is affected by climate in general.
