cities that can withstand variable temperatures

Is there any city that can withstand a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius?

They tore down the environment which created the floods only to recreat a sponge that will create mold and algae. Little girl with baby ducks, who need their mom. No respect for the environment and wildlife. Thats dinner for tonight I guess.

Sold = solid.

UK has for decades now been progressively moving away from just hard flood defences and implementing more of a water/flood management approach (though perhaps not as quickly as they could) with recreation of wetlands, reintroduction of beavers and projects to absorb/delay the flow of flood waters. Building on the flood plain is still a problem (not just in the UK) an historical folly that still happens. Too little general understanding of the impact of hard surfaces in urban areas on flooding, so people don’t think of alternatives to sold driveways, decking and other non absorbent garden designs, iterated millions of times across the country and world the impact is enormous.

This is nothing new. Been going on for centuries, this is just a new name for it.
