I avoid farmed fish whenever I can.

Infortunately thats pretty much all the salmon here. Amberjack and shrimp are usually sold farmed here in Osaka as well.

A lot of healthy things are now actually full of chemicals and are probably bad for you

This is why the japanese should only ever buy Japanese produce

Japanese should only buy Japanese food products. Produce is farm-grown plants. I agree about Japanese produce, but that ought to extend to fish, chickens, beef and other non-vegetable items. Farm grown fish is something I avoid, too. There are too many problems with the method, like the one in the article and others, too.
