Pretending the very clear evidence that contradict you is not very effective when that evidence have already been linked and quoted. It is unfortunate your only tool is a very transparent attempt of misrepresenting the evidence. Global warming (or more correctly human derived climate change) was already in the scientific discussions of the 70s, even when that destroy completely your irrelevant point.
For example those that want to misrepresent the science as being contradictive, but fail to produce even one single institute of science of the whole world that contradicts the consensus.

That's quite a bizarre comment in every clause. The odd thing is that I kind of agree with part of it. There was a cooling concern of sorts in the 1970s. I learned of it as part of my university studies. But I don't think it ever reached the "scare" level. It was seen as nature running its course.

As long as that science appears in dark, ominous and preferably very short youtube videos.

Keep up the good work. Your posts are like Kinokuniya goods. Others are like Karens having absolutely revolting hysterical meltdowns in the Costco bargain aisles
I’d guess like myself you have a science background. It’s very easy to identify those who haven’t.
In a different discipline, I remember a poster here who once claimed to have read half of the books written on WW2.
Some just don’t know how much there is to know. - the definition of uneducated. These people have extraordinary confidence and are so sure in their beliefs which they took straight from a very simplistic hymn sheet. They actually don’t know what they look like to people with even a passing knowledge.
I do like the predictably of these types. You don’t need to read their views on stolen elections, vaccinations etc. to know what they are.
Saves time.

if there is one thing that truly makes me despondent from these past few years is the dragging of the name "science" through mud by those who seek to politicize it for their own selfish goals.
Truly disheartening as a lover of science.

sorry virusrex - trying to deny there was a 1970s global cooling scare while simultaneously googling "1970s global cooling scare" is not the best plan of attack.
You clearly are not familiar with the basic tenets and even recent history of science.

Everything is there in the source, including the parts that you keep trying to hide and that clearly explain how global warming was considered there. Nothing in your quote even contradicts what I quote and that follows it. Scientist considered a cooling down but more importantly they also considered that human activity was changing the natural phenomena into the opposite, something that gained traction the more the evidence accumulated.
Trying to go back half a century just because you don't like the current scientific consensus is like trying to use texts on the benefits of trepanation just because you don't like antibiotics. Science advances, increase the certainty and only deeply antiscientific people would think going backwards somehow proves science is wrong.
How many scientific institutions of weather support your beliefs? like in the whole world?

In fact, the hopelessly stupid "Net Zero" scam is largely responsible for the current Russia/Ukraine war. 40% of Europe's energy comes from Russian gas. Fossil fuel prices are insane and now Russia is reaping the benefits. Germany closed their safe and clean nuclear plants in a suicidal and devestating virtue signal.
US and Canadian oil and gas remains in the ground.
We are witnessing the collective suicide of the west over nothing.

Talk about an own goal. From your own citation;
Not even left wing Wiki can deny the 1970's global cooling scare.
The earth is doing great everyone. Higher CO2 is a good thing, anyway. There hasn't been this level of global drylands greening in a long time.

Well known misrepresentation of the actual scientific consensus of the time.

It will get worse. The permafrost is thawing, releasing massive amounts of Methane a greenhouse gas about 80 times the potency of CO2. We cannot stop it now, having Methane seeps in Antarctica already.
Thank your local Denier.
