This is the time of year when I buy Combat and the sticky hotels ahead of the hot season. I encounter three types in Japan: the small brown ones, which aren't so bad, and the large reddish one and large black one.

They're six-legged, hairy home invaders that just won't die, no matter how hard you try.

You must be doing it wrong. I've never had trouble killing cockroaches.

This time of the year is when we replace the cockroach traps around the house that are very effective at killing them. Over the summer season, we might see less than five. The house is very tight and without holes.
