My children will be around for another 70 years or so.

A very sobering thought with record temperatures upon record temperatures and no real progress on ending the death spiral of fossil fuel era.

Our planet continues to warm up in an accelerated pace, but we humans stick to our denial of this obvious fact. Wh adhere to burning carbon, when solar energy is now cheaper. We adhere to petrol wagons, when EVs are superior in every way. What a stupid race we are. Both stupid and suicidal.

I was taught at school in the 1970's that we were coming out of a mini ice age from the 16th century. All this global warming information is mostly just away for politician's and celebrities to be in the news. The world has warmed and cooled many many times in its history.

People are always saying stuff like, "It's mother nature doing what she does". But they never answer the question: When is she going to stop? It keeps getting hotter, so how are we going to survive? Untreated, the conditions might do the job for mother nature. These people seem to have some idea. So, to empathize: when is she going to stop?
