New Zealand river's personhood status offers hope to Maori

If it has personhood when he/she/they (not sure what pronoun to use) murders (drowns) a person how will he/she/they owe his/her/their responsibility? will police need to arrest the river or those caring for it? or will it revert back to being just a river in these situations?

You cannot have a minority entity dictating to a majority entity.
