British MPs warn billions spent on carbon capture may hit bills

The Labour government plans to invest nearly £22 billion ($27 billion) to develop carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS), to help Britain reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Have not even started on development?

Even if all emissions stop now capture is still needed to reduce what's already in the atmosphere.

So the poor British old age pensioners take another hit so others can virtue signal? What a sad state the UK has become.
