All animals should be protected.
Also, we should teach education to the developing countries. Children there bully animals.

I quite agree, it might stop the British government from culling badgers.

We used to have a shed on the side of our Orange County, CA house that sheltered families of skunk. When we got rid of the shed, the skunk disappeared. Shelter for the animals in suburban settings is important.

There is a family of skunks that hangs out under my neighbor's shed, here in Orange County, CA. We also have raccoons, possums, coyotes, ducks, and Canadian geese (in transit).
The many military bases in the US also serve as sanctuaries for wild animals. While working at Vandenberg AFB I saw badgers, weasels, wild turkeys, many types of hawk, turkey vultures, deer, and prairie dogs. I was surprised to find prairie dogs in California, but there are thousands of them on and near the base. They are prey for weasels and vultures. Outside the base they are killed as pests.
