To all foreign nationals living in Japan. Don’t you feel frustrated that you can’t just freely go on a trip? Some of you may be thinking “I can’t meet my families back home...” or “My friends planned to come and meet me in Japan but now it’s cancelled...” To feed that longing for travel, and to reawaken that feeling of excitement that your families and friends had, why don’t you share your past travel experiences and places you want your friends to visit with us?
To double your families and friends’ excitement to travel to Japan after restrictions for the pandemic are eased, JNTO is holding a social media campaign with the theme of “#MyOwnPersonalJapan” where you can share your personal experiences of Japan’s charms on social media. For the winners, JNTO has prepared the perfect gifts to accompany you on your next trip in Japan.
The theme for the social media post will be “My own personal Japan; scenery to see and things to experience with your loved ones.” Share the scenery you wish to revisit and activities you wish to re-experience along with photos and/or videos you took during the trip to Instagram and/or Facebook and have a chance to win some prizes. ■ Terms and Conditions
・One person can apply multiple times.
・Each applicant can only receive one prize even when submitting multiple applications.
・This campaign is generally targeted at foreign residents in Japan, but for those who post photos and/or videos of their travel experience when they lived in Japan in the past and, by the time of selection, have an address in Japan that we can reach, may also apply, such as addresses of friends and relatives.
・Along with announcement of the results, we will also contact the winner to confirm phone number and address. If we do not receive confirmation reply, the prize will be voided. Additionally, where the applicant’s address and shipping address are different, we will conduct prior confirmation with the shipping recipient.
・Instagram and/or Facebook accounts should be set as “public.”
・Instagram and Facebook as a company are not involved in this campaign.
・Responsibility for participating in this campaign rests fully with each applicant. Unless it results from intentional decision or from serious negligence, JNTO and its coordinating company are not responsible for any issues relating to the participation in the campaign.
・JNTO and its coordinating company may re-use some of the posted contents. We will conduct prior consultation with the owner before re-using their contents.
・Any works used for the campaign should belong to the applicants (photographer). Any portrait showing a third party used for the campaign, or those submitted to the organizer (JNTO) or to campaign coordinator (Vector, Inc.) should respect the privacy and copyright of the affected person(s) and receive prior consent from the rights owner before submission. The campaign organizer and coordinator shall not be involved in any matters pertaining to costs and troubles that may occur due to violation of third-party publicity rights, personality rights, and/or copyrights.
