Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood will hold a concert series, to kick off at Yokohama Arena on Nov 19, followed by Osaka Castle Hall on Nov 21-22, Marine Messe in Fukuoka on Nov 24, and finally Tokyo's Nihon Budokan on Dec 2 and Dec 7.
Clapton, who has a reputation of being very interested in Japan, commented after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami disaster: “I feel very sorry for all who were affected and all who lost friends and loved ones. I hope Steve and I can help with this concert.” Winwood also commented, “I sincerely hope and pray for a quick recovery. I know the people of Japan can do it.”

So, are these two multi-millionaires who've made a sackful of money so far from the Japanese going to do these latest concerts on a cost-only model? It would be more sincere and useful than the usual inane comments about hearts and prayers, and gambatte! to the Japanese.
