Firefly special at Hotel Chinzanso

Fireflies, honored in Japanese culture for over a thousand years as a symbol of summer and intriguing beauty, have nonetheless become an extremely rare sight in modern Tokyo.

However, each summer, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo's Japanese botanical garden, a massive green oasis in the middle of Tokyo, becomes home to thousands of fireflies. Their magical beauty has been enjoyed by both locals and tourists alike since 1954 when Chinzanso began hosting firefly viewings.

A great chance to relive your childhood fantasy of chasing fireflies in the fields. Catch a glimpse of the enchanting night created by bugs at the garden of the beautiful Hotel Chinzanso while enjoying a special firefly-inspired dinner buffet including roast beef, abalone and much more.
