For 42 years, the International School of the Sacred Heart has hosted the Family Festival for residents of Tokyo to enjoy a day of great food, games, shopping, live music and more.
On Saturday March 14 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., the school opens its doors to a fun filled day for the whole family.
Come with an empty stomach and enjoy tastes from all around the world, catered by families in a wonderful school community, says Kristina Ganea and Jocelyn Sirgi, vice presidents of the Sacred Heart Parents’ Board and organizers of the Family Festival.
The kids can enjoy games, arts and crafts, face painting and much more, while the adults cruise around the shopping bazaar, the international food booths or take a chance to win the raffles. There is definitely something for everyone at the Family Festival.
Admission is free and tickets for food, drinks, games and raffles can be bought on site the same day.
Headmistress Yvonne Hayes says she is proud of what the Family Festival means to the community. Funds raised will be used not only to enhance school facilities, but also to support charities in Japan and overseas, she says.
Date and time: Saturday March 14, 10.00–16.00. Rain or shine!
Place: International School of the Sacred Heart campus
4–3–1 Hiroo, Shibuya-ku (2-minute walk from Exit 4, Hiroo station, Hibiya subway line)
