Yokohama Dance Parade

Yokohama Dance Parade, as the opening event, will be a brilliant boost to the Dance Dance Dance @ Yokohama festival!

In Nihonodori, there will be an amazing dance show produced by Ryohei Kondo, a popular choreographer from the CONDORS Dance Company. There will also be two special guests, Denpa Gumi Inc and World Order, for Saturday and Sunday's finale.

Yokohama Dance Parade is the first dance event which aims to exchange different styles of international dance by citizens' participation. Yokohama has been accepting a variety of overseas cultures since the port opened, and this event will reflect those various cultures through dance.

Everyone can participate with any type of dance style such as contemporary, street, social, traditional Japanese and hula. The two days are all about using the town as a stage for this event.

To kick off the event, Yokohama Dance Parade 2015 will begin with a lively and exciting dance parade.
