A year in, Uber CEO works to rebuild company's reputation

I remain convinced that Uber is a typical example of SV companies thsat make no money except for early investors and their senior management and are essentially a scam.  Whatever the marginal savings customers make on rides or the "convenience" of hailing a car on your app (and I know that friends in some USA and European cities also cite the awful state of normal licenced cabs and rudeness of drivers) I still feel that having a licenced service with proper insurance that allows working class stiuffs to make a living is a better system.  If cities need to licence more cabs to meet demand then that is what they should do and not allow these shysters to ply theirade.

This company needs to go away.
