Numbers do not lie. We need to look at numbers and discuss the business behind these numbers. Good, strong companies are those which do these things."

Exactly, this is the first step in business, but how to solve the issue takes collaborative brain storming sessions. Mr. Sakai, sounds like he encourages collaborative discussions vs his predecessor. As a long time Mizuho client I would encourage more investment in IT and educate senior management on current international banking practices.
