Given the inventive takes on ramen, such as chocolate Valentine's Day ramen and Pringles-flavored cup noodles, as well as Hello Kitty's reputation for collaborations as seen in her recent clash with the Gundam universe, it was only a matter of time before we saw Sanrio's favorite feline take on the world of noodles. Hello Kitty is teaming up with 80-year old noodle maker Edo-Tamagawaya for the release of a ramen collaboration, and of course, it's pink.

Edo-Tamagawaya is a long-established Tokyo noodle maker, mostly known for their concept of "soft mochi-texture" noodles (as well as interesting products like protein pasta and udon). Their latest venture, a collaboration with Sanrio's Hello Kitty, is a packaged tonkotsu ramen that includes pink rich pork broth, pink noodles, and even a nori (grilled seaweed) cut out of Hello Kitty.

While pretty easy for anyone who's whipped up their own ramen before, an instructional video below will guide you through cooking your own Hello Kitty pink tonkotsu ramen.

Packages are on sale for 362 yen at Sanrioworld GINZA, Hello Kitty Japan Diver City, Hello Kitty Japan Sky Tree Solamachi, Green DeLi Ecute Akabane location, and other Sanrio/Hello Kitty stores.
