Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills celebrates 5th anniversary

Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills marks its fifth year as Tokyo’s premiere luxury lifestyle hotel on Tuesday. In celebration, the hotel’s restaurants, bar and spa will be welcoming guests with special back-to-back anniversary experiences from June through August.

The Pastry Shop kicks off the festivities with a Signature Parfait – a unique collaboration of its three signature items: Éclair, Sweet Jar and Chocolate Library. You can indulge in a myriad of flavors starting with a Pistachio Sweet Jar topped with creamy soft serve ice cream. Garnished with Chocolate Library triangles, a selection of seasonal éclairs and fresh fruit, Pastry Chef Tanaka’s original layered creation allows guests to enjoy distinct tastes and textures in each bite.

At BeBu, a decadent and luxurious burger made with snow aged beef is offered for a limited time. The patty is a blend of lean meat and beef fat, snow aged for an incredibly tender and juicy meat, then grilled to perfection. The burger is served with onion cap crumbed, sweet and sour pickles, horseradish and BBQ sauce for a host of spicy and smoky flavors. With only 10 burgers made daily, be sure to try this snow aged specialty while it lasts.

In July, guests can enjoy a tasting trio of Japanese beef, which includes the popular snow aged tenderloin in a share-style sampler board at The Tavern - Grill & Lounge. Enjoy a trio of Japanese beef and savor the different textures and tastes of the tenderloin, lean tenderloin and a well-marbled ribeye. The beef platter is accompanied by the chef’s selection of snow aged roasted carrots, onions, burdock and snow aged mashed potatoes.

The celebration finale will take place at the Rooftop Bar where a pair of gin cocktails featuring an original 5th anniversary KI NOH BI craft gin await guests. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, the bar has collaborated with Kyoto craft gin maker, The Kyoto Distillery, to create their first original hotel craft gin in Japan. Just in time for summer, the Rooftop Bar will introduce this newly crafted gin in a Gin Martini Set, perfect for couples. A classic gin martini is recreated using Andaz original gin, infused with Andaz 52 sake and the hotel's original sencha with wasabi leaf tea. Paired in the set is a Peach Martini highlighting summer’s iconic fruit, blended with craft gin and slightly peppery sansho syrup to compliment the sweetness of the peach.
