Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills gets into holiday spirit with festive menus

With 2020 coming to an end, Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills is welcoming guests to wrap up the season with festive menus on a high note.

Lavish igloos return to the Rooftop Terrace this season with both lunch and dinner options. At The Tavern - Grill & Lounge, traditional ballotine of turkey stuffed with foie gras is re-invented with a modern spin, with festive dinner also offered through Room Service. From the Pastry Shop, indulge in a myriad of desserts with four kinds of Christmas cakes and sweets. Rooftop Bar is celebrating the season with its own take on Festive Tiki Cocktails.

BeBu invites guests for a fun gathering with friends and family over roasted chicken and all the fixings. Finally, the SUSHI’s luxurious gala dinner will showcase the unique style and techniques of the hotel's new chef.

Luxury igloos, Andaz Tokyo’s signature Christmas celebration returns this holiday for lunch and dinner. Set 250 meters above the city, indulge in this year’s “White Christmas” themed course with a children’s menu available during lunch. The lunch course includes sautéed fois gras served with lightly poached scallops. White asparagus paired with a whisked orange sabayon hollandaise adds an elegant winter touch to the dish. The main course is a grilled Japanese beef sirloin with snow aged potato gratin, accompanied by premium vegetables and a rich black truffle sauce to finish the dish.

Guests of the luxurious dinner will savor Hokkaido cod, steamed en Papillote with truffles, with mushrooms, Pernod butter and a hint of aniseed adding rich flavor and aroma. The dessert course is a delicate white chocolate dome, which upon breaking reveals strawberry tiramisu, fresh strawberry and mint soup.

This year’s Festive Dinner centers on a traditional Christmas meal with a modern touch for each course. The classic fois gras stuffed turkey ballotine is presented with Sauternes jelly, with sweet and floral notes complimenting the richness of the fois gras perfectly. Full-bodied plum chutney and hajikami ginger add a refreshing taste to the dish. Adding to your lavish dining experience, the main course can be upgraded to a chateaubriand – the most premium section of the tenderloin sought after for its tenderness, prepared to your liking and carved tableside by our chefs. For guests who prefer a more intimate dining experience, the room service Festive Dinner allows guests to indulge from the privacy of their own guestroom.

The much-anticipated Festive Afternoon Tea takes a modern and stylish twist this year, with savory and sweet bites resembling miniature Christmas trinkets. The Christmas Wreath – made with brioche and avocado mousse, is decorated with marinated salmon and a sprinkle of pink pepper. The Christmas Tree is crispy basil-flavored cone filled with creamy foie gras fondant, topped with a gold leaf for a festive touch.

Pastry Shop

Reservations for Christmas Cakes are accepted until December 20 (Sunday).

Store pick-up for Christmas Cakes and Sweets between December 19 (Saturday) – 25 (Friday).


Offering a personalized touch on Christmas sweets this year, the Pastry Shop introduces an array of individual servings, in addition to its popular whole cakes. The classic shortcake, available in two sizes, features seasonal Nyoho strawberries. The light and airy sponge cake is made with domestic flour which compliments the soft whipped cream and the sweet and tart flavor of the strawberries. This year’s Bûche de Noël features luscious layers of pear and chocolate ganache, enveloped in smooth caramelized chiboust cream, covered in an orange glacage coating. Rare Valrhona Inspiration Yuzu chocolate forms the base of the decadent Yuzu Chocolate Mousse. Combined with jasmine tea brulee, fruit julee and crushed fiantine, enjoy a multitude of textures and tastes in one bite.

Find the perfect gift to show your appreciation this season with a selection of Festive Hampers. Inside the Gingerbread Man Tin is an assortment of unique homemade baked goods. The medium-sized Festive Hamper is the perfect gift to share with family, with a variety of treats to please all tastes.

The Tote Bag A, newly created for this season includes a bottle of Champagne and specialty sweets for a luxurious holiday gift.

Festive Tiki Cocktails


Period: Until December 31 (Thursday)

Price: 2,000 yen each

Mixologists at the Rooftop Bar have created a range of Festive Tiki Cocktails, with holiday classics such as mulled wine and eggnog served with a unique twist. Commemorating the festive season, we express our gratitude to Mother Nature and the gods by enjoying these seasonal cocktails in vessels engraved with Tiki Gods of Hawaii and Polynesia. The Spiced Wine Tiki is an adaptation of the traditional Gluhwein. Cloves and cinnamon are infused into the red wine reduction base and mixed with rum, cranberry and orange juice to create this chilled version.

BeBu Casual Festive Dinner Plan


Period: Until December 25 (Friday)

BeBu celebrates the holidays with a modern take on classic Christmas comfort foods. Roasted chicken, a traditional holiday favorite, is filled with brioche stuffing, adding a juiciness to the bird, and rich aroma from the herb seasoning. It is accompanied by homemade cranberry and apple relish adding a natural sweetness. The hearty beef bourguignon is slowly braised with red wine and beef jus to tenderize the meat. Served with potatoes and a crusty garlic baguette perfect for dipping.
