Ginza's 300Bar wins Japan's best Mojito Award

Ever wondered where the best place to enjoy a refreshing Mojito in Japan is? Well, 300Bar, with three locations in Tokyo's Ginza district, is a serious contender. It has just been awarded by the Cuban Embassy in Tokyo 'The most authentic Mojito in Japan' certificate.

Last year, the 300Bar made 40,000 Mojitos for their customers (also a record for Japan).

The secret to their version of the Cuban classic? Fresh organic mint prepared on a farm in Tohoku which the bartenders themselves planted and harvest daily.

Mojito enthusiasts will be happy to hear that all drinks and food at the 300 bar are in fact 300 yen, so the delicious Mojito as well as classics like Cubanos sandwiches won't break the bank. But hurry as the mint season finishes in November, so there is only a few weeks left to enjoy this record-breaking beverage.

300Bar is open Monday-Thursday and Sundays from 5 p.m.- 2 a.m., and from 5 p.m.-4 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Huh? The bartenders in Tokyo go to Tohoku to harvest the mint daily? More likely that they just grow it in pots outside the bar. It’s easy enough with mint.
