Hilton Tokyo presents a new all-you-can-eat experience for afternoon tea and dinner in its all-day dining restaurant, Marble Lounge, from July 1-Sept 30. Bringing you the “new normal” in dining, shared cutlery and cramped spaces have been replaced with individual plating services and a new seating arrangement. Afternoon tea is priced at 3,980 yen per person (4,300 yen on weekends and public holidays) and dinner is priced at 5,500 yen per person between Sunday and Thursday, and 6,500 yen on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.
First impression is always important. Guests will be asked to sanitize their hands by using hand sanitizers kept in vintage perfume bottles. The interior of the restaurant will still be decorated to mimic the gorgeous room of Marie Antoinette but to avoid long lines and big crowds at the food counters, a starter set presented in an elegant and beautiful bird cage (cake stand) will be placed at each table at the start of the meal.
The two main food counters will also be separated into a photography area and a live kitchen strip with chefs giving out freshly made desserts in order to reduce crowding. Most of the refillable items will be provided in dessert wagons that will circle the seating area to help reduce movement by guests while dining.
The new afternoon tea is themed “Marie Antoinette’s Sweet Haute Couture” as it revolves around the fashion icon of 18th century France, Queen Marie Antoinette. The thematic experience is not discounted with the “new normal.” Guests can enjoy up to 30 types of French style sweets, alongside different types of red tea by Ronnefeldt.

Marble Lounge’s dinner menu has been given a makeover. With the switch to plating services, the chefs are serving up beef wellington, sea bass with morille sauce, lamb leg and more, fresh from the pan.
Complete your dinner with 10 selections of sweets from the Marie Antoinette afternoon tea and a wide selection of delectable cheese from the cheese wagon.
Similar to tea time, guests will be asked to sanitize their hands before entering the restaurant. Seating capacity has been reduced from 208 seats to 160 seats. All staff will be serving our guests with masks and gloves on.
