For hundreds of years we have been striving to increase the human life span, and to increase food production. In the last 200 years, the world population of humans has gone from 1 billion to 7.6+ billion. A population which increases exponentially is unsustainable. Until we decide to limit our numbers, increasing food production is not helping.
