First and foremost Martina Caruso is a gifted chef. Gender is irreverent, this hackneyed dysphoria over the media need to categorise politically an obvious fact is frankly infuriating.

"My father was taught by his mother. In Italy, the cuisine of 'the mamma', home cooking, is fundamental," …....This is the point in question .

Love Italian cooking. Lived there for a few years. Youngest brother lives in Rome for more than 30 years. Lived on a farm and we grew and produced our own food in a huge farmhouse kitchen and huge table for pasta making and wood burning pizza oven in the corner. Bottled about 1,000 wine bottles of tomato. Pick the olives and made oil. Picked the grapes and made wine. When you produce and then cook it just tastes that much better.
