Venerable Japanese burger chain LOTTERIA will roll out an interesting ramen burger produced under the supervision of a famous Japanese ramen restaurant called Menya Musashi.
For a limited time only.
It consists of ramen noodles that have been seasoned and grilled a bit, serving as the patty, barbecued pork ("chashu") in sweet brown sauce and the obligatory mayonnaise between two buns. It is served with fish ("katsuo") broth. You can buy “Kaedama” – a second grilled ramen patty – with more soup, for 100 yen.
Price: 634 yen Sales period: from May 20 to mid-June

Sounds yummy but pretty unhealthy....I wonder when Japanese life expectancy will start falling with so much indulgent but cheap food around.

This looks completely awful. Congratulations on combining two of the greatest cheap foods in the world and coming up with a stack of noodles and bread. Lotteria sucks.

If this can sell then I think there is an opening for someone to start a chip butty shop (with mayonaise optional).

I have had a "ramen burger" at the Azabu Juban Matsuri. Sounds interesting, and actually did not taste that bad, but was a real mess to eat. I am not lining up for that one.
