If you’re still using teriyaki sauce from a bottle, you’re doing it all wrong.

But, ordinary "Tare" from a bottle works fine when you don't have the time. Great recipe here, very similar to the one I was taught. Replace the 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar with Cooking Sake. And if you're using low-sodium Soy Sauce, you're doing it all wrong.

The slow cooker chicken sounds great, but I think I'll need to make some adjustments on volume -- I might have trouble finding a slow cooker that fits 5 kg of chicken!
