McDonald’s loves collaborating with big names in Japan and its latest collaboration is perhaps its biggest yet, with "Kiki’s Delivery Service" on board for a new series of burgers.
In Japan, "Kiki’s Delivery Service" goes by the name “Majo no Takkyuubin” (“Magical Delivery“), which makes it the perfect partner for a fast food chain famous for its delivery service. In this magical crossover world created by McDonald’s, star characters Kiki and Jiji are delivering three new “Europe Burgers” inspired by European cuisine:
▼ The German Potato Thick Beef (520 yen)
▼ The Peperoncino Juicy Hot Chicken (450 yen)
▼ And the Bouillabaisse-Style Shrimp (470 yen)
A new animated TV commercial has been created to help promote the new burgers, starring voice actors Aoi Yuki as Kiki and Daisuke Sakaguchi as Jiji. The animated clip, based on the original story by Eiko Kadono, sees Kiki introducing the new burgers as they fly through the air delivering the Europe Burgers.
▼ The commercial starts with Kiki shouting: “Delivery from McDonald’s!"
This new trio of burgers is the latest in the chain’s world-inspired menu series, with previous collections taking us to New York and Asia. This time, customers will be able to enjoy a taste of Europe, with the beef burger featuring a layer of chunky potatoes, the chicken containing red peppers and aioli sauce, and the shrimp having a crunchy cutlet paired with a smooth bouillabaisse sauce.
The square-bunned burgers will be on the menu for a limited time from June 26 to the end of July, and while they’ll generally be available nationwide, Kiki’s Delivery Service doesn’t fully extend to Fukuoka and Saga prefectures, as the Bouillabaisse-Style Shrimp won’t be available there.
McDonald’s is just as famous for its awesome packaging as it is its limited-edition burgers so we can’t wait to see what the new burger wraps will look like when the new collection is released.

That's not Kiki....why did they deface the character?

I demand that these burgers be delivered via flying broomsticks and a black cat.

Disgraceful use of popular animation characters to get people (most likely kids) hooked on junk food.

I agree with you, oh yeah! Well, everyone is encouraged to eat unhealthy food these days, and this bleeding Gad of delivering everything makes me ruddy cross. It started during the pandemic. Another curse on society, middle men exploiting and making huge amounts of hardly any effort and people becoming more obese.
BTW, I think the food looks absolutely ghastly in the photos. Would I partake? No way Pedro!

I don't mind McDs but only within five minutes of it being made. The taste deteriorates so quickly that I wouldn't want it delivered. Other delivered food, Chinese, Indian, sushi etc, keeps much better. I guess its a size issue, but fish n chips chips keep much better, half an hour easily, than McDonalds fries. McDonalds fries go cold and taste stale very quickly.

Those crunchy fillet chicken and shrimp burgers look absolutely mouthwatering and delicious!! I really need to see Kiki's Delivery Service movie, it feels a lot like A Letter to Momo that I saw on December 31, 2023 and it was So funny, hearttouching and beautiful!!

One of the best anime shows ever. It's a terrific idea to use Kiki for this. The selections look terrific. You folks in Japan are so lucky. McDonalds here in the states is still the same stuff -- not a lick of creativity. In Japan, it's like a wonderland in comparison. Kiki's Delivery Service: Even if you're old take a look at it. You won't want to stop.

If you're too lazy to get off your backside and go to the store yourself, you shouldn't be eating junk food.
